Our Process

Step 1: Research and Planning

Step 2: Design

We will create detailed wireframes that depict the visual layout of your site and demonstrate user navigation. We will organize elements, sections, and text for clarity. After assessing the wireframe’s effectiveness, we will develop mockups based on this plan and compile the necessary text for each page.

Step 3: Development and Launch

We will begin this phase by building the website in an offline environment, starting with the installation of essential plugins for the Content Management System. We will then customize the theme, construct the necessary pages, and incorporate various sections and features. Next, we will add images and text, select a suitable web host, and finally launch the site to make it accessible online. To conclude, we will establish a maintenance plan to address future requirements.

This project was truly fascinating for us. Let’s dive into the story.

Gunnar from On The Rocks – Calabogie reached out to us, seeking a creative, unique, and different website for his new business, Vinarium—a wine distribution facility.

Gunnar wanted to showcase how Vinarium values each bottle of wine, preserving the unique flavors and stories crafted over time by the earth’s natural elements. Additionally, he wanted to feature his stunning wine cellar and the nature of Canada.

Given this information, we had to jump straight into action due to a tight timeline. Gunnar mentioned he would be presenting this at a national wine convention in Germany in just four days! This included travel days as well…

We began with brainstorming sessions right away, setting up the domain name, custom email, and web hosting. After four days of intense work and little sleep, we had everything connected and built!

Our custom design showcases the beauty of Canada’s rich nature above and the deep wine cellar below the earth. We incorporated a bottle embedded in the ground, leading down to the cellar where its story is safeguarded from the harsh elements above.
